To maximise your chance of matching with high quality candidates and receiving consistently strong inbound applications, it is important to sell your business in the best and most authentic way possible.

We’re known for hosting the best, most innovative and mission-driven companies on our platform. This is why candidates love us. So think about the mission of your business and captivate your audience with a short description of what you’re trying to build. Storytelling is a huge opportunity to engage with your ideal candidate pool.

Here are some things to think about in building out your profile

Values

Go into detail about what your company values are and how these values are brought to life. This will help potential applicants resonate with different cultural aspects of your business and connect with you.

Photos

Share relevant articles and photos of team days out, or images of your product to give candidates insight into what you're building.

D&I statements

Let candidates know your position on D&I, no matter the size of your organisation. What are you doing to make a more inclusive workplace? What are your diversity objectives? These are things that candidates want to understand so that they feel like they can belong.

Storytelling with benefits

Go into as much detail as possible into your benefits. If you have flexible working, let us know what this means for your business. If you have private healthcare, let us know if this includes dental, opticians and mental healthcare. Go into detail on why you chose certain benefits and their place in your overall package.

As your business grows and changes, when you develop more benefits and upgrade your position on D&I, make sure you update your profile to reflect your growth. This is something you may want to check on every six months or so.
