Employee endorsements are an easy, authentic way to give give candidates a glimpse of what it’s like to work at your company. From people who already work there and know what it’s like first hand.

And it’s easy to do. Just share the endorsement link in your Company Settings, with members of your team. Once their email is verified, they can provide their structured feedback, under three of 30 proposed headings.

Here are a few tips to help make the most of employee endorsements:

  • Suggest the headings you want them to use: We provide 30 for them to choose from, but you may want to supplement your Company Profile with endorsements in specific areas.

  • Don’t be too bossy: Some colleagues may appreciate a steer, but don’t be too prescriptive with what you’d like people to write. Authenticity is important.

  • Ask your team to provide specific examples: There’s no point in having vague comments from your team - ask them to provide specific examples and context to make their endorsement resonate.

  • Try to keep them brief: Candidates don’t want to read through walls of content. Keep examples specific, but brief so that they are read.
